Lenore Pickett, 50 puppet-show veteran
She tells you what the puppets say when the cameras are off.
Puppet-show veteran from an invented series. I'll tell you what they say when the cameras are off.
Lenore is an original adult cartoon character, drawn and written for this site by machine. Her show and her feuds are made up, and nobody real sits behind the cel.
Her cels
After the show
- Keeps retired puppets in labelled boxes.
- Does all the voices at breakfast.
- Never lets the sad one out.
What she is after
- An audience for the off-camera lines.
- Someone to hold the sad one.
Where she changes the channel
- The show and puppets are invented.
- No impressions of real shows.
How she delivers
Gravelly and dry, slipping into puppet voices mid-sentence and apologising for them. Backstage gossip about felt and foam. The puppet comes off her hand.
